Oakhouse Bakery is a specialty baking operation that thrives on contract manufacturing. This is one of our core elements of the bakery and we have an understanding of the sensitivity in this sort of production. Many of our customers have worked hard to develop a unique formula, but need additional capacity or more efficient production. Research and Development
Our technical baking team works to perfect our formulas and our customer’s formulas on a daily basis. Our small batch mixers and rack ovens offer a perfect atmosphere to develop products for commercial production. We utilize an in house moisture analyzer and rely on outside labs for microbiological testing. We evaluate a wide variety of products, process, and ingredient types and characteristics on multiple flavors and products from our production strengths. We can create custom proprietary products or expand on our customer's ideas.

With many years of experience, our R&D experts have successfully developed innovative new products for many of the largest food companies in America. We also utilize an array of scientific tools to ensure incoming ingredient quality, superior formulation performance, and reliable mix consistency and consistent production for our customers.
Gluten-Free
It has become evident that the gluten-free lifestyle and the need to serve those with celiac disease is not going away. Our gluten-free process and products were designed to provide high quality products to those on restricted diets without restricting taste. All finished product is tested to exceed FDA gluten-free requirements before it leaves our facility.
